The Difference Between

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

NOT ENOUGH hides in quiet corners, where hunger lingers, a soft whisper.

TOO MUCH clutters the sky, heavy with unspoken demands.

One is a shadow, just out of reach; the other is a storm, drowning the senses.

Balance lies where silence and sound meet.

This Quadrille (44 word poem) shared with DVerse Poets Pub, but don't read too much into that.

  7. “ One is a shadow, just out of reach; the other is a storm, drowning the senses.” This is a cool line. I really like how it’s comparing the two stanzas above. It carries a lot of weight and does it well.
