A Moment at the Station
A Moment the Station
The gloves fell
to the platform
unnoticed,
when she brushed another.
It cost me nothing to scoop them up,
even less to catch up to her.
I gained a smile,
a gracious thank you,
and a deeper,
honest look
into her astonishing blue eyes.

What a wonderful brush with beauty,..
ReplyDeleteOne of those perfect moments that you wish would expand into another whole reality. Nicely conjured, Chris.

I like this. Something so realistic written with emotion, not sure how she will react to have someone tap her on the shoulder.
