Time is a miser
Doling out life’s
Experiences
One at a time.
Today you get
A warm smile from a child
Tomorrow
Tears will be
What notes the day
For you.
All of your Destiny
A spoonful at a time
Never more than
A mouthful
At once.
For once your belly
And mind is full
You are done.
