Spell Words
You may or may not know, there is poetry on the moon.
I mean literally, in the form of the #LunarCodex - a collection of human creativity from all over the globe, representing almost every nation on earth. It contains art, literature, sci-fi, vampire stories, and poetry.
Including a poem of mine. I was so geeked out.
The first successful project landing went up right around Valentine's Day in 2024, landing on the moon in dramatic fashion at the end of the month. I floated on that for weeks.
This project continues - with Serenity & Minerva - (and needs your support) with the next launch hopefully this month, and I have recently learned that this poem prompted by the spellbinding folks over at DVerse Poets Pub, and two others, will be aboard the #Polaris mission, the sixth and perhaps final phase of the project.
Thank you for helping me get to the moon!
Spell Words
There is good reason
spellcasters and poets
drink from the same well.
Words shape thought,
thought forms expression,
expression shapes intent,
and then the magic happens.
Just the right word,
in just the right spot,
said just the right way,
casts every spell ever.

This Quadrille (44 word poem) was prompted by the word SPELL at DVerse Poets.
